Just wanted to wish you all a very happy Columbus day weekend! Whenever I think of Columbus, I think of this awful paper I had to write my freshman year of high school. I will always remember how "A" students (aka my posse, the "smart girls") got "Cs" and "Ds." To be honest, I don't remember what I got on that paper, but it was kind of like the apocalypse...or like living in another dimension. Good was bad and black was white, "smart girls" got Ds, and not so smart kids, well, also got D's.
So, on this Columbus day weekend, be thankful that you're not a 9th grade, world history student. And if you so desire, take some time to think about the topic of that epic paper:
